Javier Iván Díaz, a Colombian-born bilingual Catholic composer, blends Spanish and English music to unite diverse communities. With degrees in choral conducting and music, he directs choirs at NCYC and NCCYM. His compositions, including “Nuestra Alegría/Our Joy,” bridge cultures, featured in OCP collections and at World Youth Day events. Commissioned by the USCCB, he led the creation of the official English theme song for World Youth Day Lisbon 2023. Díaz’s music, showcased on global platforms like EWTN and Vatican News, spreads God’s love at national conventions and workshops.
