The Priests, a classical trio, consist of three Roman Catholic priests hailing from Northern Ireland’s Diocese of Down and Connor. Fr. Eugene and Fr. Martin O’Hagan, natives of Claudy, County Londonderry, now reside in Derry, while Fr. David Delargy is from Ballymena, County Antrim. Their musical journey began at St MacNissi’s College, Garron Tower, County Antrim, in the 1970s. Signing with SonyBMG in April 2008, they recorded their debut album, “The Priests,” in Northern Ireland and Rome, including the unique privilege of recording in St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City.
