CATHOLICVIBE — TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using the CatholicVibe website ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

CatholicVibe is operated by a private individual based in Singapore ("we", "us", "our"). CatholicVibe is not a registered company or legal entity.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. ABOUT CATHOLICVIBE

CatholicVibe is a Catholic music discovery platform. Its purpose is to help visitors discover Catholic artists, songs, playlists, and podcasts from around the world. The Site provides:

An artist discovery directory with links to artists' profiles and music on external platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Apple Music, and others)
Curated playlists and podcast listings
An artist submission form for the public to suggest new artists
A contact form for general enquiries

CatholicVibe is a personal, non-commercial project. We do not currently charge for access, sell products, or run advertisements, though we reserve the right to introduce advertising or a Patreon page in the future.

3. USE OF THE SITE

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes to discover Catholic music and artists. You agree to use the Site only in ways that comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

3.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Site in any way that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems
Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to extract data from the Site without our written permission
Post or submit content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or otherwise objectionable

Submit false or misleading artist information through our submission forms
Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site

3.3 No Account Required

The Site does not require visitors to create an account. The Site is administered solely by its operator, who holds the only administrative account.

4. ARTIST SUBMISSIONS

The Site allows members of the public to submit artist suggestions through the Artist Submission Form. By submitting an artist, you confirm that:

The information you provide is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge
You are not submitting spam, malicious content, or deliberately false information
You understand that submission does not guarantee the artist will be added to the Site
All submissions are reviewed manually and at our sole discretion

We reserve the right to accept, reject, or ignore any submission at our discretion and without obligation to provide a reason.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5.1 Our Content

All original content on the Site — including but not limited to editorial text, descriptions, layout, design, and graphics created by CatholicVibe — is the property of CatholicVibe and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without prior written permission.

5.2 Third-Party Content

Artist names, album artwork, music, images, logos, and other content belonging to artists or third-party platforms (including Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Apple Music) remain the property of their respective owners. CatholicVibe does not claim ownership over any third-party content displayed or linked on the Site.

5.3 Artist Images and Data

Artist profile images and music data displayed on the Site are typically sourced via third-party APIs (such as the Spotify API) in accordance with their respective terms of service. If you are an artist or rights holder and believe your content has been displayed incorrectly or without authorisation, please contact us at catholicvibe@gmail.com and we will address your concern promptly.

6. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND EMBEDDED CONTENT

The Site contains links to and embeds content from third-party platforms including Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Apple Music, and artists' own websites and social media pages. These links are provided for your convenience and to help you discover and enjoy Catholic music.

CatholicVibe does not control these third-party platforms and is not responsible for:

Their content, accuracy, or availability
Their terms of service or privacy practices
Any transactions, interactions, or disputes you have with them

Clicking on a third-party link means you are leaving our Site and entering a platform governed by its own rules. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any external site you visit.

7. DISCLAIMERS

7.1 No Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7.2 Accuracy of Information

While we endeavour to keep artist information accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any content on the Site. Artist availability, links, and details may change without notice.

7.3 No Endorsement

Listing an artist on CatholicVibe does not constitute a formal endorsement of that artist, their views, or all of their content. We aim to feature artists whose primary work is Catholic in nature, but we cannot monitor every piece of content an artist may produce across all platforms.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CatholicVibe and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

Your use of, or inability to use, the Site
Any content on the Site or linked from the Site
Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
Any other matter relating to the Site

This limitation applies regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. FUTURE MONETISATION

CatholicVibe currently operates as a free, non-commercial platform. In the future, we may introduce:

Third-party advertising (e.g. Google AdSense)
A Patreon page for voluntary community support

Any such changes will be reflected in updates to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We will not introduce subscription fees or paywalls for core content discovery features without prominent advance notice.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

11. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
