Val Mural (Valerio Muralles), born in Guatemala City, migrated to the U.S. with his family at age 3. Raised amidst hardship and instability, he found solace in music, particularly hip hop. Troubled teen years led to expulsion and brushes with the law. Yet, guided by his Catholic upbringing, he sought redemption. Becoming a father intensified his desire for change. Confirmed in the Catholic Church at 23, he embarked on a path of faith. Encountering FoundNation, a Catholic hip-hop group, he found a community and purpose.
